Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Following are the requirements for the program:

Bachelor’s degree meeting the requirements for a type 5 teaching career according to the KMK (Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs), i.e.,
- one teaching subject and one vocational subject in a combination permitted at Universität Hamburg
- educational science with a focus on vocational or economic education
- subject-specific didactics in the vocational and teaching subjects
- teaching placements
- professional training in the vocational subject or a twelve-month professional placement
Separate proof may be required for individual teaching subjects.
