The joint law course (Hamburg/Istanbul) is an integrated international course with a double degree. The course is carried out by the Faculty of Law at the University of Hamburg together with the Faculty of Law at the University of Istanbul.
The aim of the course is to train students in the areas of German and Turkish law, including its basics and references to international law.
The intercultural and comparative legal competence of the students is to be promoted and deepened.

There are no tuition fees for students. Only Semester contribution fee.

Each year, up to ten students from Turkey and Germany are admitted to the winter semester. Nationality is not important for admission.
For admission via the University of Hamburg, a university entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur) and proof of sufficient knowledge of the Turkish language (at least level B2) are required.
