Mathematics is a consecutive, more research-oriented master's program. The bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics are related to each other.

The master’s degree serves to deepen and specialize. A successfully completed master's degree should enable:

  • responsible mathematical activity in industry and economy,
  • to manage projects that involve analyzing, modeling and solving scientific, economic or technical problems,
  • planning, development and research tasks in scientific and public institutions,
  • to work as a research assistant at a university,
  • to access a doctorate.
