The eighteen-month Masters's program in Molecular Medicine expands upon the scientific and medical knowledge basis acquired in Bachelor programs and explores in depth the molecular aspects of medicine. Its goal is to train students thoroughly in the area of application of molecular medicine. It should enable students to engage in independent and creative research at the crossroads of medicine and basic science.

During the first year, students attend the course Molecular-pathological aspects of organ systems, which is designed to heighten their understanding of the interaction between clinical and molecular science. In other obligatory module courses, particular aspects of molecular immunology, bacteriology, human genetics, and oncology are treated. The final six months are to be devoted to working on a master's thesis.
