Academic Eligibility:

• Completion of the bachelor's degree in “Applied Cognitive and Media Studies” at the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent degree; the bachelor's degree must be at least “good” (2.5) or better.
• either completion of the bachelor's degree "Applied Cognitive and Media Science" at the University of Duisburg-Essen, or
• Degree in a polyvalent bachelor's degree in "Psychology" or "Computer Science" at a state or state-recognized university or in "Applied Computer Science" at the University of Duisburg-Essen, or

• Another, equivalent, at least three-year course with a first professional qualification and a total workload of at least 180 credits from a state or state-recognized university, of which at least 100 credits must be in the field of psychology or computer science.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following requirements:

• Educational residents (people who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification in Germany or at a German school abroad) do not require any special proof of German language skills.
• Citizens of a country outside the EU with a foreign university entrance qualification must pass the "German language test for university entrance" (DSH 2 level) or the TestDaF (TDN 4) before starting their studies.
• Individual events can be held in English and in the majority of courses the underlying literature is written in English. Knowledge of English is therefore expected.

International students hailing from non-English speaking countries can prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
