The Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology deal with problems in a variety of technical areas. These range from energy conversion and transmission to automotive electronics as well as the development and processing of microchips and data communication. Starting with the mathematical and physical principles, students receive in the course of their studies many insights into the workings of electrical systems. From the fourth semester onwards, they can choose one of three specializations: electrical energy technology, microsystem technology, and microelectronics, as well as information and communication technology.
