The component Musical Culture represents a cooperation of TU Darmstadt with the Akademie für Tonkunst (Academy of Musical Arts) located in Darmstadt. The component contains a range of courses offered by the Institute for Philosophy as well as the Akademie für Tonkunst and combines artistic practice, reflection on society, the theory of music as well as aesthetics and musical philosophy.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Followings are the requirements for this program:

Test German as a foreign language for foreign applicants (TestDaF) with a final result of TDN 16; only one TDN 3 may be compensated for by one TDN 5.
German Language Diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education - Second Level (DSD-II)
Goethe Certificate C2: Great German Language Diploma.
