Biosciences are characterized by tremendous technical dynamics and variety. Apart from the classical areas of specialization of Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Genetics, Physiology, and Ecology, there are numerous related disciplines such as Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Biomedicine, Bioengineering, and Bioethics. However, they can be divided into two fundamental areas: molecular and cellular biology on the one hand and organismic and systemic biology on the other.
