• The master's program "English Studies" with the two courses "English Linguistics" and "Anglophone Literature (s) and Culture (s)" sees itself as an in-depth scientific and research-oriented education in the field of English linguistics and in the field of Anglophone literatures and cultures.
  • The students are involved in ongoing research projects, among other things in order to position themselves scientifically and to be able to actively research their own later professional activity.
  • The master's program enables students to deepen their analytical skills and methodological skills and to develop their own research strategies. 
  • The cultural-theoretical elements of the course are also intended to enable students to work in an interdisciplinary, constructive and goal-oriented manner across cultural boundaries with cultural scientists from other subjects.
