• In the linguistics and phonetics course, students will deal with all aspects of human language: with the structure of individual languages ​​and with language comparison, both in terms of word and sentence structure as well as in terms of sound systems and speech melody. 
  • Students will acquire knowledge of language history and language change, as well as the function of language in society, and learn to understand linguistic phenomena using descriptive and experimental methods. During their training, they will develop skills for the analysis, reconstruction and modeling of language. The language and culture comparative perspective plays a crucial role in this.
