• The six-semester study of geography in the 2-subject Bachelor of Arts with the degree Bachelor of Arts (BA) provides basic knowledge in the field of anthropogeography and physical geography as well as extensive knowledge of subject-specific methods and is achieved by an equivalent second subject at the Faculty of Philosophy added. 
  • By teaching, applying and reflecting on these subject areas, the study of geography enables students to work independently, to analyze and critically evaluate scientific knowledge, to apply scientific working methods in a targeted manner, and to work on spatial problems, with particular attention to their social and scientific aspects.
  • The study of geography in the 2-subject bachelor's program Bachelor of Arts is particularly suitable in combination with the following subjects: ethnology, African studies, history, prehistory and early history as well as the linguistic subjects.
