Master of Science in Physics at the Technical University of Braunschweig is a 2-year (4 Semester) program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
The program starts in the winter semester and summer semester.
This course will show, student’s training as a physicist aims to enable them to recognize problems, reduce them to their essential core, describe them by means of a model, and finally solve them.
The program is taught in English and German Language.
On the basis of solid knowledge of the laws of nature, physicists thus become generalists who are successful with their problem-solving strategies in many fields, even outside the realm of physics.
This program explains theoretical, experimental, applied and geo-/astro-physics are represented at the TU Braunschweig and enable an application-oriented education.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must complete a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physics or in an appropriate previous course of study at a German university or at a higher education institution belonging to one of the Bologna Signatory States.
In addition, further admission qualifications, e.g. degrees from universities of applied sciences or other foreign universities, can be examined by a commission on the basis of the application.

Language Requirement:

Students must have passed one of the following language tests:
- DSH 2
- TestDaF with at least 4 points in each section of the test
- Feststellungsprüfung of the Studienkolleg
- Sprachdiplom of the Kultusministerkonferenz (Stufe II)
- C2-Zertifikat of the Goethe Institute
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution

Copy of latest German language certificate – Students are required to submit a copy of the German Certificate.
School Leaving Certificate – School-leaving certificate in the original language and a certified translation (certified copies) is required.
Official Transcript – Students have to submit the transcripts of bachelor's degrees with all subjects, including marks and letters of motivation.
English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
