Academic Eligibility:

• A Bachelor or comparable degree in the following disciplines:
  • Media studies
  • Film and television studies
  • Communication science
  • Journalism
  • Media culture
• Further admission requirements for enrollment in the course are proof of knowledge of English (B2) and another foreign language (B2) as well as an obligatory, certified master's consultation 
• Proof of language skills is usually provided in the form of a high school diploma, a bachelor's degree, or a certificate of successfully completed language courses.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Most of the courses at the RUB are held in German. Students must therefore have sufficient knowledge of German and provide evidence by obtaining one of the following language certificates:
  • TestDaF with at least 16 points within an examination
  • DSH (level 2 or 3)
  • German Language Diploma - DSD - II
  • ZOP or Goethe Certificate C2 from the Goethe Institute
  • KDS or GDS from the Goethe Institute
  • ÖSD language diploma C1
  • telc German C1 Hochschule
  • Assessment test (examination part German)
