The Bayreuth master's program in physics, therefore, offers students a wide range of options when it comes to choosing their focus, for example by specializing in the areas of biological physics, solid-state physics, nonlinear dynamics, physics of soft matter, or physics of molecular systems. In-house initiatives are also specifically promoted. Accompanied and advised by experienced lecturers, the students can choose thematic focal points in such a way that a demanding individual course of study develops, including stays abroad.
