Bayreuth sociology combines social theory, sociology of knowledge, political sociology, sociology of culture and religion, and sociology of development. We address socially relevant issues, each different in terms of methods and material research. The master's program in Sociology is characterized by the close link between research and teaching and a high degree of freedom of choice and research orientation for students, including teaching research projects and internships.
