At RWTH the business administration and engineering course of study focus on technical skills in engineering right from the beginning. Starting in the fifth-semester students can begin to specialize in a technical concentration. Students select two of four electives, gaining an initial look at energy technology in Aachen.

Following are the entry requirements to this Program :
- General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), subject-specific university entrance qualification, or an equally recognized university entrance qualification or an equally recognized university entrance qualification (HZB)
- All international applicants who are not legally equivalent to German citizens, such as non-EU students, must submit a TestAS certificate when applying for an undergraduate course of study
- Proof of German language skills at C1 level when enrolling.
- An extremely important requirement for a successful application is that all documents are completed and submitted on time
