    CSEET 2023 May Session: Registration (Started), Exam Date, Result (Jan - Out), Scorecard, Cutoff

    ICSI CSEET 2023 Result for the January session was declared on January 18, 2023. In the exam, 67.73% candidates declared pass. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check and download the scorecard at the official website – icsi.edu by logging in with their application number and date of birth. Candidates who satisfy the passing criteria will be able to participate in further selection processes. 

    CSEET 2023 was successfully conducted on January 07, 2023. Several test-takers faced technical issues while appearing for the test as a result ICSI conducted a re-test for such examinees on January 09, 2023. Registered candidates can download their CSEET 2023 Scorecard using their application number and date of birth.

    What is CSEET? CSEET or CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) for CS certification for the production of Company Secretaries in India includes Foundation, Executive, and Professional Programme is a national-level entrance exam conducted 4 times a year in January, May, July, and November. CSEET is an online exam conducted as a computer-based test, for a duration of 170 minutes.     CSEET Eligibility

    CSEET 2023 Eligibility

    CSEET 2023 Eligibility is set by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Candidates planning to appear for this exam must fulfill the basic requirements.

    • Qualification: Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10 + 2 level or an equivalent examination. Only those candidates who clear ICSI CSEET 2023 are eligible to register themselves for the CS 2023 executive program.
    • Nationality: Only Indian citizens living in India may apply for CSEET 2023. Foreign nationals or NRIs are not eligible to appear.
    • Age Limit: Lower age limit for appearing in CSEET Exam is 17 years.

    • CSEET 2023 Registration for the May session has started. Candidates can fill out the application form till April 15, 2023. CSEET 2023 registration fee is INR 1000. 
    • Candidates can visit the official website of the conducting body and complete their application form.

    CSEET 2023 Registration Documents Required

    • Photograph of the candidate
    • The file size of the candidate's photo must be between 20kb to 50kb.
    • Signature of the candidate 
    • The file Size of the candidate's signature must be between 10kb to 20kb.

    • All files uploaded must be in one of the following formats - jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp,pdf.

    The application form can be filled by following the steps given below:

    1. Visit the official website of CSEET 2023 Registration; www.icsi.edu/home/
    2. Under online services; click on the register for CSEET button.
    3. Fill the details under new registrations such as Qualification, Aadhar Card Number, Title, Name, Gender, Category, Date of Birth, Nationality, Mobile Number, Email Address, and CSEET Exam Center.
    4. Enter address details including Country, State, District, City, Postal Code. 
    5. Your fee details will be mentioned in the next step. Click on next to continue.
    6. In the documents details sections, upload the required documents in the required format. Date of birth certificate, ID proof, 10 + 2 level mark sheet, signature, and photo must be uploaded.
    7. In the next step, all documents uploaded and data filled will be displayed.
    8. Finally, in the payments page make your payment via one of the available gateways; Axis bank, Billdesk, Challan, and Kotak Bank.

    CSEET 2023 Admit Card – How to Download

    CSEET 2023 Admit Card for the November session was released on November 2, 2023. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their login credentials issued at the time of registration.

    The admit card must be carried to the test center along with valid government-issued id proof. In case of any mismatch of details mentioned on the hall ticket, candidates are required to rectify the same by contacting the relevant authorities at the earliest. Candidates may follow the below steps to download CSEET 2023 admit card:

    • Go to the official website of ICSI CSEET 2023.
    • Click on ‘Admit Card’ link showing in the notification center.
    • Enter your registration number and date of birth to log in.
    • Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
    • Download and save CSEET 2023 admit card for the examination.

    CSEET 2023 Exam Day Guidelines for Offline (PBT) Test

    • Print and Carry CSEET/ CS Professional admit card along with a valid photo id proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam hall.
    • Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the space provided on the admit card
    • Candidates are advised to reach the ICSI exam center as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.
    • Candidates must not bring prohibited items like mobile phones, earphones, watches, etc., as these are not allowed inside the examination hall.

    COVID-19 Guidelines

    • Following the below-mentioned rules for COVID-19 safety is mandatory for all candidates:
    • Wear face masks at all times.
    • Carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer (50 ml) for frequent sanitization.
    • Follow social distancing norms and avoid crowding.
    • Bringing personal transparent water bottles is permitted.
    • No eatables will be allowed inside the test center.

    CSEET 2023 Exam Day Rules for IBT Mode

    General Instructions Include:

    • Candidates must ensure details such as Applicant’s Name, Photograph, Signature, Admission number, Date of the test, and Timing of the test are mentioned on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy, contact the authorities at support.icsi.edu.
    • SEBLite exam browser must be downloaded using the link provided.
    • Audio and video will be monitored continuously via the proctor.
    • Candidates must have the admit card and one govt issued id card ready with them.
    • Candidates must log n to the portal 30 minutes before starting of exam. The exam will start 15 minutes after that. Candidates can leave after 90 minutes of commencement. No break is allowed in between.
    • The qualifying mark is 40 percent. Negative marking is not applicable.
    • No paper, books, or electronic gadgets are allowed.

    Instructions to appear for the exam:

    • The operating system must be Windows 10 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) OR Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) OR Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) Note - Up-to-date Service pack, device drivers, security patches in the test-taking system.
    • The processor of the laptop/desktop must be 2 core (4 vCPU) or above and have at least 2.2 GHz or more clock speed. RAM requirement is above 2 GB.
    • The screen resolution must be 640 x 480, 15 frames per second (fps).
    • Candidates must use chrome and download the latest from google.com/intl/en_in/chrome
    •  The microphone has to be a standard 3.5 mm jack/internal.
    • Graphics should be at least 64 MB of memory (Internal/External) 9. Multimedia support with a sound card is needed.
    • Internet Connection must have an upload speed of 1 Mbps and a Download of 1 Mbps. Speed per user is Upload of 2 Mbps and of Download 2 Mbps.
    • Net Framework required is V4.5.2, Download from: dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net452
    • Antivirus must be disabled and extensions removed.  
    • Download AnyDesk from anydesk.com/en
    • In chrome settings, enable webcam and mic. DIsable adblocker.

    Other Instructions

    • Uninterrupted power supply and administrative privileges on the laptop/desktop to enable installation/uninstallations is mandatory.
    • After logging in using the unique id, time schedule, website address, and ID and password will be communicated duly.
    • 2 level verification of face identification and admit card display will be carried out.
    • In following cases, the system will collect data and consider unfair means of taking the exam: Focus changed to a different window, Browser not supported, Webcam is disabled, the face is not visible in the camera, Several faces in front of the camera, the face does not match, Microphone muted or volume is low, Screen activities are not shared, Second display is used, Full-screen mode is disabled.
    • The proctor will communicate with the candidates, chat with candidates, take snapshots of every minute.
    • Each session will end automatically after the timer ends or is finished by the candidate. Conversations/images will be saved in the system.
    • A positive or negative comment as per the conduct of the test taker will be left by the conductor. No violation will leave a positive conclusion.

    • In case of lost connection, power interruption candidates can log in and continue from the last question.
    • A mock test conducted on July 6 must be attempted by candidates. Results of the same will be sent separately/.

    Operational Instructions

    • When the proctor instructs to sign in, candidates must click on the tab and read all instructions, and clear doubts before the test start.
    • Chosen answer out of 4 options will be highlighted and auto-saved. Answers can be changed before the timer stops.
    • DO not click on the end test button until completed as the test cannot be restarted after clicking on the confirm button.
    • The timer will start after the commencement of the test and will be displayed.
    • Answers can be marked for review if candidates wish to verify their answers.
    • Invigilators must be informed immediately in case of laptop shutdown.
    • White indicates questions that are not visited, red indicates questions are not answered, green indicates questions not answered, orange indicates questions not answered or marked for review, blue indicates questions answered and marked for review.
    • Test summary can be viewed after submitting the test.

    Ques. Who is exempted from CSEET 2023?

    Ans. Students who have already passed the CS Foundation Programme, ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), and ICMAI (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India) are exempted from appearing for CSEET. Candidates with these qualifications need not appear for the exam.
