BITS HD 2023 Admit Card will be available from May 13, 2023 till the exam date. The admit card will be available online on the official website of BITS HD Exam 2023. BITS HD 2023 exam is to be held on May 20 – 27, 2023, in different slots.
- Candidates can download the admit card from the website by providing their BITS HD 2023 Application Form number and Date of Birth.
- It is mandatory for a student to carry BITS HD 2023 Admit card to the exam center along with a valid Identity proof. Without the hall tickets, candidates will not be allowed to give the entrance exam under any circumstances.

BITS HD 2023 Exam Centers
- Exam Center for BITS HD 2023 will be decided by Birla Institute of Technical Science and the list is uploaded on the official website.
- BITS HD 2023 entrance exam is held at various centers across the country. Candidates can choose 3 examination centers according to their convenience.
- BITS have the sole and full authority to cancel any of the exam centers in case of lack of sufficient candidates or any other unforeseen circumstances.
BITS HD 2023 Exam Day Instructions
There are a set of instructions that a candidate needs to follow mentioned on the Admit card.
- Candidates are required to make sure that they carry a valid BITS HD 2023 Admit Card to the test center and show the same to the exam coordinator or invigilator.
- Center supervisor will not allow any student appearing for the entrance exam, failing to produce the admit card.
- BITS HD Admit Card is a non-transferable document and cannot be passed to any other person. Involving in such deeds or impersonating is a criminal offense and will be taken into charge immediately.
- All the candidates are required to reach the examination venue well in advance. It is necessary to report half n hour before the allotted time on the admit card.
- Candidates are required to bring a valid ID proof with the Admit card.

Answered Questions
GATE consists mostly of numerical questions. It tests the aptitude for solving questions in less time. BITS HD papers have 10-15 numerical questions usually. The numerical questions aren’t on the same level as GATE and are just formula-based problems. Usually, around 80-90% of BITS HD questions are theory oriented. You need to have a good grasp of your engineering subjects to score well in BITS HD. The questions can come from anywhere in the syllabus. BITS HD usually consists -
- 15 Mathematics questions (difficulty usually higher than GATE)
- 15 general English questions
- 70 Engineering discipline questions

- You should not spend too much time on the problems you are not sure about. Instead, utilize the time on the questions you feel that you can do fast.
- If you are an ECE student, make sure you have a clear concept about all the subjects.
- Go through the previous year's questions of GATE.
- You should not underestimate paper 1 as it is quite scoring. There is no necessity to prepare the EE part.
- For paper one, do not leave any topic mentioned in the syllabus. Especially the surface integral, triple integral, and geometry of complex numbers prepare them very well.
- For English, solving questions from slightly tough sources can be done because BITS HD is tougher than GATE.

BITS does not conduct a separate examination for Instrumentation Engineering. You can take admission in Microelectronics at BITS Pilani campus through BITS HD.
