Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years full-time b.sc program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidates must have passed 2th Science stream students with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, who have passed board exams, are eligible to appear for this course. The minimum aggregate marks requirement is 45% (in PCM subjects) and 50% in English (10th / 12th)

Medical Fitness

Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms of DGS, with eyesight 6/9 in both eyes and with no colour blindness.

Age limit

Candidates must be between 17 to 25 years of age at the time when the course starts.
