The Pharm. D course is offered as a 6- year degree inclusive of five years of education and one year internship. To pursue either of the courses, candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned below –

For 6 year Pharm. D course –

Candidates must have completed 10+2 level of education from any state/national education board. They must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology as additional subjects. They must have completed 17 years of age in the year of admission. Or

Candidates holding a diploma in pharmacy are also eligible for Pharm. D course provided they fulfill all other conditions as well.

Centralized on-line admission process for B. Pharmacy (First Year), Direct Second Year B. Pharmacy and Pharm D. is governed by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra every year. To participate in admission process students must have to appear for MHT CET

Candidate should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; Or

Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having the approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State);
