Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
- XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from programme leading to B.Sc. (Honours) Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Horticulture. Education or an equivalent Examination, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Inter Agriculture (with Physics, Chemistry) and English.
- Obtained score in Common Entrance Test of the respective year conducted by the competent authority.
- The candidates who have passed qualifying examination without Biology / Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university.

Agriculture and Allied Courses Eligibility
- Completed HSC with minimum 50% aggregate score (40% for reserved category candidates) under the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent awarding body with English and PCM/ PCB.
- Candidates who have studied Inter Agriculture along with Physics, Chemistry, and English are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have not studied Biology in the 10+2 level must take deficiency courses as specified by the respective university.
- Applicants should have qualified MHT-CET. Alternatively, a valid score in JEE, NEET, or AIEEA-UG is also acceptable.
Agriculture and Allied Courses Selection Criteria
- Admission to all Agriculture and Allied courses is on the basis merit in entrance test and qualifying examination with a weightage of 70% and 30% respectively.
- Of the total intake capacity, 80% is filled by MCAER on the basis of merit and the remaining 20% is filled through management quota by respective colleges.
- Candidates have to select the college at the time of counseling.
- Based on the rank obtained and college selected, seat allotment will be done
- Selected candidates will be informed through a call.
- All the selected candidates need to report at the college for further admission process along with valid documents.
