Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree in any Faculty with 50% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in the subject concerned or equivalent examination. OR Master's Degree of this or another University in another subject or an another faculty. OR For M.A. (Punjabi) a person who has passed B.A. (Hons.) School in Punjabi. OR BA (Hons.) in Punjabi or Bachelor's Degree with atleast 45% marks in the subject of Punjabi Elective or Functional Punjabi or atleast 50% marks in aggregate in Bachelor's Degree in any faculty under 10+2+3 system from recognized University
