The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE)sent directions for NIEM to shut down three of the courses that it offered in the Mumbai and Pune branches for not having the approval of AICTE and DTE.

• NIEM has closed 3 courses including MBA, PG Diploma, and UG Diploma as they do not have any approval by government authorities.
• The organizations charged a penalty of INR 1 Lakhs from the college for not following rules and regulations and for misleading students.
• Similar incidents had been recorded with NAEMD and NAEMD is also considered to be a bogus institution by many students.
• Many students have reported not getting a degree or certificate after passing all the examinations successfully.
• This can prove to be harmful to your career in case you take admission into the college.

It is advised for you to not consider both of these colleges for admission. Both colleges do not take responsibility for their unprofessional actions and this is why it is suggested to not choose any of them.
