Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time MBA Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidates must have a Master's degree in business management or any Master's degree with relevant experience.

Entrance Exam:

Selection into Ph.D. program is evaluated on the basis of the academic performance (% Marks in B.Tech / UG & M.Tech / PG) and the institution last attended for Bachelors' and Masters' degree (Maximum 20% and 30% marks respectively), previous experience (each year 1 mark up to max. 5% marks), publications (2marks/Journal paper & 1 marks for conference paper up to maximum 5 % marks), written test (15% marks) and interview (25%marks)
Eligible candidates have to appear for a written test and interview.
All the candidates are required to qualify in a written test conducted by Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University). Candidates, who have qualified in the GATE/CSIR/NET/CAT examination, are exempted from a written test for Ph.D. admission. However, they should appear for the interview.

According to the reviews online, Presidency College of Bangalore is favoured more by students than Vignan college. One of my friends also studied at Presidency Bangalore, so it will be easier to state its details.

Presidency Bangalore is recognised by the UGC and also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
They offer courses like: BCA, B.Com, BA, BBA, M.Com and also MBA programs.
The institute has international collaborations with reputed institutions.
The placements here are great.
Students who do not secure on-campus job offers, also get to sit for pool and off-campus placements and secure good job offers from reputed companies.
The faculty members include trainees to highly experienced professionals.They are extremely cooperative.
They also have a diverse student crowd.
