Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as

Academic Requirement:

• M.Tech or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised University, for admission into Ph.D in Engineering and Technology. •
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/M.Sc. with exceptionally good academic record are eligible for admission into Ph.D. program in Engineering and Technology, subject to one of the following conditions:
  • B.Tech degree from IITs, NITs, BITS, ISI and other similar reputed Institutions with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 or its equivalent. 
  • B.Tech degree holder from a reputed R & D organization with proven research experience. 
  • B.Tech degree from other Universities with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 or its equivalent and a valid GATE score.
• M.Sc degree from IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 or its equivalent and a valid GATE score
• M.Sc in Physics/Mathematics with 60% aggregate marks or its equivalent and proven research record are eligible for admission into Ph.D. program in Sciences.
• Candidates with National level fellowships like CSIR NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC NET-JRF etc. are exempted from appearing the above tests
