Pursuing a degree through distance education can take a toll on your career. It offers limited exposure to the students with a lack of interaction with the teachers or any extracurricular activities. It is better to opt for a regular course.

If you cannot afford time for a regular college due to some compulsions, remote learning from IGNOU is the best choice rather than a distance course from MKU.

Overall, a regular from Madurai Kamaraj University is fine, but a distance course from MKU is not recommended.

Obtaining the original mark sheets and original PG certificates from Madurai Kamaraj University is a tedious process. Contracting them via emails or calls is a time waste. You are not likely to receive any response. It is better to visit the Certificate Department of MKU in person.

• Some nearby places include Thiruvathavur Temple, Keeladi excavations near Silaiman, Samanar Caves in Keelakuilkudi near Nagamalai Pudukottai, and Narasingam and Arittapatti on the route to Melur are some of the places worth seeing.
• Movies are also the best escape for quick entertainment. If you enjoy going out, the city has a large number of theatres.
• For filling your bags with your shopping list, you can visit Town Hall Road, Dindigul Road, Millenium Mall in KK Nagar, and Vishal De Mall in Chokkikulam.
• Inexpensive eateries and tiny motels can be found in every nook and cranny of "Thoonga Nagaram," which means "neighborhood."

Overall, there are many places to spend your weekend at.

MKU Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) offers many distance UG and PG courses. One of them is B.B.A. The B.B.A. specializations are general, computer applications, and retail. But it is not advisable to pursue an administration course or skillful course through DDE. You will never get benefitted. It is better to seek a regular course.

Also, MKU degrees are unreliable. The university is involved in backdated admissions, malpractices in examinations, and other unprofessional conduct.
