The application process for admission to distance courses at Alagappa University is entirely offline. There are three methods through which an interested candidates can procure the application form for the distance programs:

• Candidate can fill online application form available at the official website of DDE, Alagappa University.
• Candidate can obtain application fees and prospectus from the university campus by submitting fees of Rs. 100/- in form of a DD drawn in favor of “The Director, DDE, Alagappa University” for all courses.
• For courses like MBA/ MCA/ PGDCA/ M.S.W / /M.Sc.(C.S.)/M.Sc.(IT) /M.Sc. (Physics) / M.Sc.(Chemistry)/ M.Sc. (Botany) / M.Sc .(Zoology) a candidate will have to submit a DD of Rs 300/- is payable at Karaikudi drawn in favor of "The Director, DDE, Alagappa University".
• Candidate can also obtain the application form, from one of the study centers approved by Alagappa University by submitting the required application fee in the form of a DD drawn in favor of “The Director, DDE, Alagappa University”.
• Xerox copies of all the certificates along with application form should be in English only and send to the address:

Enclosures for Direct Admission with university

• HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested by the Gazetted Officer. (Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification)
• Student Index Card with stamp size photo and signature affixed.
• Demand Draft for the prescribed total fees drawn in favour of the Director, DDE, Alagappa University, payable on any bank at Karaikudi.
• No Transfer Certificate is required.

Enclosures for Admission through study centre

• HSC/ Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate and a copy attested by the Gazetted Officer. (Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification).
• Student Index Card with a stamp size photo and signature affixed.
• The candidate has to submit two Demand Drafts separately towards Course Fees.
• One Demand Draft in favour of the Director, DDE, Alagappa University, payable at Karaikudi towards the University.
• Another Demand Draft in favour of the Study Centre concerned through whom the candidate seeks admission.
• The above Two Demand Drafts should be submitted to the Study Centre along with the filled-in Application.
• No Transfer Certificate is required.

The candidates are advised not to pay any fees in the form of Cash to the Study Centre under any circumstances.
