Eligibility Criteria

• Teachers working in recognized schools with a minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Undergraduates or postgraduates in any one of the following subjects:  Botany, Chemistry, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Computer Science, Tamil, Zoology and Physics.
• Candidate must possess a diploma in Teacher Education from the recognized Teacher Education Institutes.
• Candidates must have had studied subject in their bachelor degree course study related to the subject they choose as major.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates to the B.Ed. Program at the School of Distance Education will be based on the performance of candidates in the entrance test conducted by the university.

Entrance Exam Pattern:

• The question paper will be divided into two separate parts, A and B. Part A being General and B focused on optional (Major) subject
• The paper will comprise of 100 question carrying 1 mark each
• The paper will comprise of 100 question carrying 1 mark each

2. Click on the blinker that reads ‘B.Ed. Admissions’.
3. You will be redirected to a new page, you can find the application, prospectus and advertisement for B.Ed. admission there.
4. Click on ‘Application’, it will open in a new tab in pdf format, take a print out of the application form.
5. Fill the application form carefully after going through all the instructions given in the prospectus.

Offline Application Method:

Application form and prospectus can be availed in person or by post on submission of a Demand Draft of INR 500 drawn in favor of “The Director, School of Distance Education” and made payable at “Coimbatore” and a self-addressed stamped envelope (25” X 35”)  to the value of INR 50.

Payment Method:

Candidate will need to pay the application fee in the form of a Demand Draft of INR 500 drawn in favor of “The Director, School of Distance Education” and made payable at “Coimbatore”.
