Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility:
Master in Business Administration or M.E./ M.Tech. with a first class or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA 6.5 on a 10 point scale in cases where the University/Institute does not award any class.
Admission Guidelines
Students who will satisfy the eligibility requirements will receive a call from authorities regarding written test or Interview. Selection will be based strictly on academic performance & performance in written test/Interview. Weightage given to different test aspects is given below:
- Performance in Bachelor’s degree
- Performance in Master’s degree
- Performance in Written/Interview
Note: 1. Student who will qualify in GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET (has been conducted for Junior & Senior Research Fellowships [JRF-SRF)) would be exempted from written test.
Final seat will be confirmed only after payment of prescribed fee of INR 600 & verification of certificates. Selected students have to register for Ph. D. programme within one month from the date of admission.
Note: For students with students with associate membership 40% weightage will be given to associateship exam & 60% to written test.
Available Assistanceships:
VIT University offers financial support to total 30 students on the basis of their performance. University encourages students to earn their Ph. D degree in prescribed time period.
- INR 12000 per month for Post graduates in Engineering/Technology/Management.
- INR 10000 per month for engineering, science & commerce graduates.
