SICSR Infrastructure & Facilities

A 120 Mbps wifi network is available on the SICSR campus. There are 12 classrooms, 5 computer labs, and 2 A/V halls with a total of 102 N-Computing devices being used by students and faculty members.

In 1985, SICSR Library was founded. The reading hall and the stack area are the two sections that make up the library. Books, periodicals from both domestic and foreign publications, magazines, and audiovisual materials are all available at the library. The Library is home to an extensive collection of materials on computer technology and related fields.

The member of the SICSR library has access to more than 45,000 E-Journals, more than 7 E-Databases, and more than 2,00,000 E-Books through the SIU Library portal. All the subscribed E-resources are remotely accessible through the SICSR library portal.

Ans. ONLINE SNAP test fee is INR 2250 (+ applicable Payment gateway charges, GST and any other taxes). This is not refundable. While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SICSR in the same application form. A registration fee of INR 1000 (+ applicable Payment Gateway Charges, GST and any other taxes) per program is to be paid to SICSR for each program that the aspirant wishes to apply.

Ques. Is SNAP test compulsory for admission in SICSR?

Ans. Yes, a candidate aspiring to join a select Post Graduate program of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] will have to register and appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test. An Indian national / NRI candidate (having graduated / graduating from a recognised University in India) will have to apply through SNAP to seek admission to a select PG programme of SIU.

Ques. How can I obtain my SNAP admit card?

Ans. Follow the steps mentioned below to obtain your admit card:

SNAP Test Admit Card should be printed from the SNAP website.
Ensure that your latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test.
Admit Card along with Photo Identity proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test.

Ques. Where does the SICSR conduct the entrance test?

Ans. The university conducts the entrance test in 90 cities all over India. Some of them are Agra, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Aligarh, Allahabad, Ambala, Amritsar, Moradabad, Meerut, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Dehradun, Patna, Ranchi, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Kanpur, etc.

Ans. You can use the SNAP ID/ email and password to fill in the SNAP application form, view/ print the admit card, check My Mail, and modify personal details. If you apply to institutes which take SNAP scores, you should use your SNAP ID.

Ques. I could not register online for SNAP, as I am not able to proceed after "I agree". How can I register myself?
