One of my friends had completed his undergraduate from UIP (CSJM University). Having spent 4 years in the hostel, he got in touch with some engineering students and knows about UIET. Here is some information.

• The institute may have a good reputation in terms of academics but the placement scenario of UIET is very bad. You need to rely on GATE, CAT, IES, and various other entrance examinations to secure your future.
• The faculty members of engineering programs are friendly but they are not well-experienced.
• There are no campus placements at the university. Very few companies visit the campus and the percentage is very low.
• The fee structure is a bit on the higher side compared to other government universities in the state.

CSJM University does not focus on innovation nor on research, it needs to improvise things before it gets worse. Look for other better options if you have any.
