I have lived in Bhopal for the past decade, so I know a little bit about LNCT. It is basically a tier-3 engineering college.  It is regarded as the top engineering college in Bhopal, behind MANIT (NIT Bhopal) and possibly RGPV. It is ranked among the top 10 colleges in MP, not only in Bhopal. This college has an outstanding placement record, with nearly 100% placements (or so they say). According to the 2020 placement highlights the highest CTC offered at the institute was 27 LPA.  Bhopal is a fantastic place to live. Life here is immensely enjoyable because of the clean atmosphere, kind people, and excellent infrastructure. From an academic aspect, there are numerous coaching institutes that cater to the needs of students preparing for competitive exams such as GATE, UPSC, GRE, CAT, and a variety of others. These are the reasons why you should choose LNCT over BIT Bhilai. 

CSE, LNCT Bhopal is better than ACropolis Indore. It offers better academics and placements. LNCT Bhopal placement is pretty good for CSE. Students of the branch usually get an average CTC of around INR 4-5 LPA. While the highest CTC goes up to INT 19.4 LPA. Amazon, Cognizant, VMware, TCS, etc. are some of the major recruiters. As a city, Bhopal is cheaper than Indore and more student-friendly.

Since the admission would be processed through the management quota the charged fee is quite high. Higher than the usual fee.  If you aim at pursuing the CS branch then the amount might increase even more as they would ask you for donation money as well. Hence, getting into the college through management quota requires you to unload your filled pockets and fill theirs with your hard-earned money. If you will opt for the CS branch in LNCT it would cost you around 12 lacs.  The breakdown of the fee payment is as follows. The fee of CS in main branch is 1,40,000/- per year and fee through management quota amounts to 2,00,000/- per year The Donation money on the other hand amounts to 4,00,000.  This is done through demand draft or cheque. Whatever is suitable at that time. Therefore, for CS it will cost you 12 lakh for the whole 4 years. The final choice depends upon you.

It has the best infrastructure and the faculties of LNCT are all well educated and experienced.  The motive of LNCT is to furnish the best quality education and for that, the authorities of college are more concerned about the attendance for all the students including the final year.  The classes are conducted by the Assistant Professors. The college is not so much into the Annual Functions and Tech Fest but they do focus on the regular lab practical sessions for a better understanding of the subject. After 4 years, a student will easily get placed in a software-based company on an average package, no matter which branch a student belongs to. One of my friends graduated from LNCT Bhopal and here are some important things that you need to know, before making any decision.  It is not a great deal to get admission in LNCT. You just have to choose a particular branch you are interested in. In LNCT Main, most of the students want to get admission to CSE. Otherwise, they go for ECE or Mechanical branches. If you have JEE mains AIR between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh (Branch specific) and 85% or above in board exams. Then you can take admission very easily. The Home State quota is also very profitable. Just select the branch during state counseling very carefully. If your residence is Madhya Pradesh and your family income is less than 5 lakh annually. Then get a residential certificate and an income certificate from the respective department (Tehsil) and during choice filling for state board counseling form, select the TFW column (Tuition Fees Waiver) and enter the registration numbers. After this choose that branch first which has ‘TFW’ in its name. Students from other states cannot get admission through the TFW quota. If you get admission through the TFW quota, your fees will be around 10000 to 12000 rupees per year. Otherwise, you have to pay 1.2 lakh or more for a year. Lastly, If you can’t get admission in any round of counseling. Just meet with the management of the college directly and you can opt for a management quota to get admission there. 

It will be difficult to get CS at LNCT Bhopal main campus, with a JEE score of 56. But he can get other branches such as Chemical, IT, Production, EE, etc. He can also try for the other two colleges under LNCT group, i.e. LNCTS, and LNCTE. In terms of placements, there is not too much difference between these institutes. 

Yes, with a 29,098 rank in the JEE Main 2021, a student can very easily take admission in LNCT main campus Bhopal. But why LNCT, you ask. Because 29,098 is a decent rank through which any student can get a better college than LNCT. LNCT can be the last option because it opens admission to almost all the students even with the rank of 1,40,00. According to the placement statistics of the year 2020, it offers packages of around 3-5 lakhs per annum. Therefore, think wisely before choosing LNCT and opt for any other colleges better than LNCT. This decent rank is not supposed to get an admission in the LNCT. If you conduct more research and try for the colleges, you can get any better college than LNCT that would prove beneficial for your future.
