- The admission into the MMS course at SIMSR Mumbai is based on MAH-MBA/MMS CET conducted by State CET Cell (Government of Maharashtra), followed by CAP. Around 85% of the seats will be alloted through the CAP Quota. The 15% of the seats are reserved for the All India Quota seats will are filled through CMAT/ MAT/ ATMA.
- The PhD admissions are based on GATE/ NET/ SLET/ UGC/ CSIR (JRF), followed by a Personal Interview.

Some of my friends studied at KJ Somaiya. According to them it is a good institution that provides degrees to postgraduate students of diploma programs like financial services, healthcare, international business. It also provides degrees in programs of human resource development and management (part-time) and financial management (part time).
Here are some facts that you should know about the college -
- The institute does not award PGDM degrees anymore and it hasn’t changed its courses to MBA degree programs.
- KJ Somaiya is under the aegis of Somaiya Vidyavihar University and is an integral part of it.
- It is an autonomous status granted by UGC and offers full time, part time and executive programs in Business Management along with MCA and doctoral programs.
- Apart from MBA KJ Somaiya has launched MBA (Human Resource) and MBA (Sports Management).
- KJ Somaiya plans to offer MBA-DSA (Data Science and Analytics)
Purpose of part time MBA: -
- This would make the students professional.
- To build a strong foundation in the fields of management.
- Apart from theory holistic education, discipline and social responsibility is considered equally important.
