RIM Bangalore PGDM Eligibility:

Candidates seeking admission to PGDM offered by RIM Bangalore must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline as a minimum educational qualification for the entrance. Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point in the qualifying degree examinations.

RIM Bangalore PGDM Selection Process:

Candidates must have a valid common management entrance test scorecard (CAT/ MAT/ XMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT).

Admissions are made through the four-stage selection process. The eligible candidates will have to further appear for the comprehension ability test, group discussion and personal interview round.

Ramaiah Institute of Management is a reputed management institute in India. It offers quality education in the field of management. They also have global connections and a vast alumni network. Here are some of the things worth mentioning about the institute.

It accepts admission based on entrance examinations such as CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, etc.

Placements:

It has a good placement record. Many reputed MNCs visit the campus drive to recruit students. Here are the recent placement highlights for the institute.

The average and highest CTC offered were 4 LPA and 17 LPA, respectively.

My cousin is from IFIM and it's an excellent Institute, not because of its rank or reputation but several other factors as well.

IFIM's BBA program has been ranked #26 in the nation by India Today's MDRA survey of 2019.
IFIM is situated in Electronic City, the IT hub of India, which is Bangalore.
In addition to this, IFIM Bangalore has been accredited by AACSB- a position received by only 6 institutes in India to date.
The College also has several clubs and is industry-oriented. The list includes clubs in Marketing, Finance, and even Human Resource. In addition to this, there is the Toastmasters club for communication and leadership skills.

The overall standard at IFIM is excellent. The crowd, professors, fests, workshops, places to hang out - all combine to give you an explosion of opportunities.

Which is a better option for a B School, MSRIM or Alliance University?

It would be advised to not opt for Alliance University unless you want to pursue an MBA in marketing specialization. Even opting for the marketing stream at Alliance is a tough bet to choose.

Alliance University:

For the two years of college life, you will have a great time in the university with a very good infrastructure and highly qualified faculty members.
However, the campus placement at the university is not that good. You will have a tough time only after joining those companies that come for the recruitment.
