Aspirants seeking admission to 2-year Full-time M.Sc. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

• The candidate who have passed B.E / B.Tech Examination of VTU or any other university with a minimum of 60% or equivalent Grade. However, a relaxation to the extent of 10% shall be allowed to SC/ST or any other category as notified by the Government of Karnataka from time to time.

OR

• Teaching / Research Staff / Teaching Assistants working in any Engineering college or Polytechnic Institutions recognized by AICTE either in the State of Karnataka or outside, who have passed B.E / B.Tech Examination with a minimum of One Year Teaching Experience.

OR

• Employees of the State Government / Central Government / Quasi-Government Organizations / Public Sector Industries / Reputed Private Industries / Awardees of research fellowship by nationally recognized bodies like CSIR etc., who have passed B.E / B.Tech Examination with a minimum of One Year working experience.

Entrance Exam:

The candidate shall be qualified in GATE or in the University Level Research Aptitude test
