(1) For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates, All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jannu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates

• The candidate should be an Indian National;
• The candidate should have passed BCA or B.Sc (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or BE (CSE) or B.tech (CSE) or BE (IT) or B.Tech (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State); or 
• The candidate should have passed any graduation degree (e.g.: BE or B.Tech or B.SC or B.Com or BA or B.Voc etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);
• Obtained non-zero positive score in MAH-MCA-CET.

(2) NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Foreign National Candidature Candidates

• The candidate should have passed BCA or B.Sc (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or BE (CSE) or B.tech (CSE) or BE (IT) or B.Tech (IT) or equivalent Degree and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate; or
• The candidate should have passed any graduation degree (e.g.: BE or B.Tech or B.Sc or B.Com or BA or B.Voc or tec.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate;
• Any other criterion is declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the ACT.
