Course Information

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility conditions and assessment of part time and full time FPM students remain the same.  For being considered eligible to apply for the program the candidate should have at least one of the following degrees from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as an Institute under Section-3 of UGC Act, 1956; or, recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India:

  1. Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with FIRST CLASS or equivalent Grade points.
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree plus any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, CS and CFA with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  3. Those appearing for their final examination in the respective discipline can also Such students if selected shall be provisionally admitted, provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before 30th September of the year of admission. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is 31st December

Additional criteria for part time:

  1. Additional Criteria for selection of part-time students: The candidate should have completed minimum THREE years of full-time relevant work experience as an academics/industry or a corporate executive.
  2. Candidates will have to bring a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their employer stating that the candidate will be given sufficient time to do their research and that the workplace will establish facilities that will aid the candidate in his doctoral research.

IIM Calcutta is unquestionably superior to IIPM on every count. In most ways, it is better as compared.

IIMC is the best finance and economics institute. But, if you want to know what it's like to waste your parents' money and time to get a degree that isn't even recognized, IIPM is the place to go. That experience is not available at IIM C
