1. Collect the prospectus form the university or fill it online through official website of University of Madras.
2. Detach the Application form, Computer Coding sheet, and Address slip from the prospectus.
3. Separate application form is to be submitted for each programme.
4. Pay the application fee for offline mode through DD drawn in favor of ‘Madras University’ payable at ‘Chennai’.
5. Application form for regular M.B.A. along with the required documents along with DD is to be sent directly to the:

6. Application form for Self Supportive (Evening Programme) is to be sent to  the:

7. The following certificates are to be sent along with the application form:
• HSC certificate
• Consolidated Statement of Marks of qualifying exam
• Community Certificate for BC/MBC & DNC/SC/ST
• Certificate for the Differently Abled (if applicable)
• Code of Conduct Certificate
• Provisional Degree Certificate
• Copy of TANCET Marks

Note: Students looking for admission in Madras University have to first apply for TANCET. Seven days after declaration of TANCET result, students have to apply in the university with their valid TANCET score to secure admission in MBA & MCA courses.

• Candidates who have passed any of the under mentioned Bachelor’s Degree examinations of the university of  Madras or any other  university or a qualification recognized by the Syndicate of the University of Madras  as equivalent thereof , provided they have undergone the course under 10+2+3 Or 11+1+3 or 11+2+2  pattern or under the Open University System shall be Eligible for admission to M.C.A Degree course.

          B.C.A  / B.E.S / B.SC  in computer Science / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics /  Applied Sciences

          B.Com. / Bachelor of Bank Management / B.B.A / B.L.M . B.A . Corporate Secretaryship / B.A Economics or any other Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Business Mathematics and statistics or                      Mathematics and statistics or Mathematics / Statistics in Main / Allied level

          B.Sc. Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as allied subjects

          OR

          A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with mathematics as one of the subjects at the Higher Secondary level ( i.e. in +2 level of the 10+2 pattern.
