Course Details

Patna College BBA Admission 2023 will begin soon, the admission will be based on the PUCET exam which will be held around July 2023. Further, the candidates will be required to participate in the counseling based on their PUCET and 10+2 scores. The various counseling rounds will be conducted throughout August 2023. The final list of candidates will be out by September 2023.

The Patna College administration introduced the three-year honours level course in Bachelor of Business administration (B.B.A.) from the academic session, 2005. The main objective of this programme is to fully equip the B.B.A. students of the college with the latest trends in management skills so that students may become successful management professionals and may be eligible for higher studies in management.

The course shall cover a period of three academic years.
There will be a total of 16 exams over the course of the program.

Patna College BBA Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for taking admission in the BBA Course of Patna College, the following pointers need to be kept in mind:

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Degree of bachelor of Business Administration must have passed the 10+2 Examination in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized Board/University.
Candidates must give the entrance test and viva-voce examinations to be conducted by the college.
On the basis of those tests, a final Merit List will be prepared and the candidates name must be in the shortlisted list.
The candidates shall have to pay full fee as prescribed in the regulations or modified from time to time.
The reservation of seats for the admissions would be followed as per the rules of the State Government/Patna University of SC, ST, EBC & BC girls Categories of candidates

Admission Procedure

After a candidate satisfies all the eligibility criterions, he/she will have to fill the admission form from the official website of Patna University within the given time
There will be an entrance examination which will be taken from an online platform
After the candidates have given their entrance tests, there will be a viva voce test conducted
A merit list will be uploaded in the official website after taking into consideration the candidate’s performance in both the tests.
Based on that, the final admission procedure will be conducted by the college.

Documents required at the time of physical verifications are:

Application Form (Downloaded Hard Copy).
Economical Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate in (Format – I) and a self declaration form in (Format – II).
Original School/College Leaving Certificate with one Self attested Xerox Copy.
Original Marks sheet of the XII / +2 with one Self attested Xerox Copy.
Original Caste Certificate (for reserved category) with one Self attested Xerox Copy.
Self attested Xerox copy of AADHAR CARD.
Three Passport Size Colour Photographs.
Candidates, who have passed XII / +2 Examination before 2019 are required to submit an Affidavit of the gap year.

The pattern of examination in the BBA course is given below:

The examination takes place at the end of the first, the second and the third years of course conducted by the University.
There will be a written examination for each of the theory papers of three hours duration. The medium for the examination shall be English/Hindi.
In order to be declared successful, the candidate shall have to pass both in Theory and Internal Assessment/Practical separately with 45% marks. Minimum percentage of marks required for passing in Subsidiary paper will be 35%.
7. The Percentage of marks for:

I Class – 60% > in aggregate

II Class – 45% - 60% in aggregate

Each successful candidate at the Part III examinations shall receive his/her Degree in the prescribed form specifying the name of the college and the class in which she/he was admitted.

Patna University provides a BBA Honours program while Parul University extends a simple BBA program for individuals. Parul University is among the top 100 BBA colleges in the country while Patna University can be preferred due to its location and establishment benefits.

The locational constraints can play an important part in the context as Parul University is in Gujarat while Patna University is situated in Bihar. Parul University being a private university is more preferred and trusted across candidates. The other prominent details are as follows:

Admission

Parul University has a fee structure of INR 1.65 Lakhs for BBA in 5 streams.
Patna College offers it in INR 60000 with no such specialization.
Merely low fee is not the primary reason to prefer Patna College as BBA is a professional course demanding full exposure.
