Course Details

Maharaja's College offers two years PG courses affiliated to Dr. Harish Chandra Gour University, Sagar. It provides Master of Arts (MA) degree with ten different specializations, Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree with nine specializations and M.Com in Finance.

The total intake for PG programmes varies from subject to subject. The total number of seats present for MA including all the specialization is 163, whereas, for M.Sc., the college has a total of 107 seats.

Admission to PG programmes are done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exams. Application process for the PG courses normally starts in the month of July every year.

Key Points to Note

75% of the total seats of MA programmes will be reserved for those who have taken the respective subject as Optional (Main) subject under Part III for the BA Degree Course
15% of the seats of PG programmes are reserved for Scheduled Castes, whereas 5% is reserved for Scheduled Tribes.
