Fergusson College B.Sc Admission Procedure
Fergusson College is following the online mode for undertaking admissions of students in the year 2020. The applicants have to submit their applications online only.
How to apply?
- Candidates seeking admission in the B.Sc program need to visit Fergusson College Website.

- F.Y.B.Sc: A student can opt for a combination of FOUR subjects from the following Vocational Biotechnology (VBT), Botany(B), Chemistry(C), Electronics(E), Geology(G), Mathematics (M), Photography(Ph), Electronic Equipment Maintenance (EM), Physics (P), Statistics (S), Zoology (Z), Microbiology (Mic), Environment Science (EVS). Each subject will have 2 theory courses and one practical course.
- S.Y.B.Sc: A student can opt for a combination of THREE Subjects out of the four taken in F. Y. B. Sc. In addition, the student will have to opt for ONE language course in English/ Marathi/ Hindi/ Sanskrit.
- T.Y.B.Sc: Following subjects are available as specialization in B.Sc.: Botany, Chemistry, Electronic Science, Environmental Science (Self-Financed), Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology (Self-Financed), Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

The hostel accommodation for girls at Fergusson College is decent. The hostel fees are nominal. It is closest to the college. Hostel rooms are fine, but not in great condition. Mess food isn’t too good. There are sometimes water problems.
The hostel rules are strict. Students need to enter the hostel by 8 pm. On Sundays, the end time is 8:30 pm.
