Bali Ram Bhagat College was established in 1969. It is a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithala University, Darbhanga and accredited by NAAC with B++ grade imparting education till Honors level in Arts, Science and Commerce. It is a multi-faculty co-ed institution, the college, till date maintains a distinguish place in the University. Financial assistance to the college was given by members of the public at large, the most notable and memorable being from Sri Bali Ram Bhagat, Ex.External Affairs Minister of India. It is registered under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act and is receiving grants from the University Grants Commission under various schemes. Today the college has a well defined Science Block with latest Lab facility full of requisite equipment; a well stacked Library with about 50,000 Books and Journals with separate Reading Section for students and teachers ,common room for boys and girls and a huge cycle stand within its campus.
