The specific mission of the SCCP program is to provide students with theoretical and professional training in preparation for psychological work with children, adolescents and families in the school, mental health, private practice, and research settings.
The program is designed to provide training in assessment, therapy, and other psychosocial and instructional interventions, professional consultation, and prevention. Opportunities are available for research and professional work with infants, young children, adolescents, adults and families.

Two letters of reference (one academic and one professional).
Résumé provides clear and complete information about the applicant's work or field experience related to their proposed studies.
Statement of Intent which 1) indicates which of the program's four Course Groupings most interests them, and 2) names at least two faculty members whose interests are closest to their own.
