The Doctor of Education in Counselling Psychology, Counselling & Psychotherapy Field (EdD CP) is primarily for students who are already engaged in a career in counseling services in an educational and/or community setting.
This degree emphasizes the role of the counsellor in the educational system, the acquisition of effective supervisory and consultative skills, the development and assessment of student counseling services, and the advanced study of counseling theory and practice.

Two letters of reference (one academic and one professional).
Résumé provides clear and complete information about the applicant's work or field experience related to their proposed studies.
Statement of Intent which 1) indicates which of the program's four Course Groupings most interests them, and 2) names at least two faculty members whose interests are closest to their own.
