The Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene at Canadore College is a 3-year program.
This program is offered on a full-time basis.
Some of the main topics students learn through this program are:

- Pharmacology
- Orthodontics for dental hygienists
Students develop the knowledge, skills, and judgment needed to become self-regulated health professionals.
A large part of your training will include hands-on clinical practice.
Students work with clients from the community on-site in Canadore’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, where they offer free dental hygiene services as they put their clinical theory into practice.
Graduates are in high demand, finding employment in dental offices, hospitals, and research institutes.
This program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a Higher Secondary School Certificate to get admission in this program.
Subjects required: English, Maths, Science
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL Scores.

Others:

Students with the age of 19 years or more without the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) will be considered on the basis of their results on the College's Mature Student Test.
