• The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology programs share a common first year of a two-year program. Upon successful completion of the first year, students select one of; Automation and Instrumentation Technology, Computer Control Technology, Electrical Power and Industrial Control Technology, or Wireless Communications and Computer Networks Technology to complete their diploma requirements.
  • The program prepares students for careers at the engineering technologist level in the areas of electrical utility systems; consulting engineering; electrical manufacturing; electrical contracting; general, primary and secondary manufacturing; and governmental agencies. It provides graduates with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to enter these fields in the areas of design, installation, maintenance, production and technical sales.
