• The program provides the general training necessary to understand, analyze and interpret the forces and mechanisms that determine political action. It looks at the elements that affect the entire community: states, governments, parties, unions, social movements, lobbies, citizens, etc.
  • The student learns, among other things, to examine and sort sources of information, to relate data, to analyze and then to present choices to decision-makers. The ability to move from a complex general problem to a choice of specific policies is the main skill developed.
