This PhD program combines the fundamental and practical aspects of philosophy. It allows the development of high-level philosophical skills through the acquisition of historical and methodological tools specific to current research in philosophy.
These pedagogical bases emphasize the argumentative capacities, the development of the critical spirit and the global comprehension of the discipline with the aim of treating rigorously and scientifically the philosophical stakes.

The application is accepted throughout the year.

Have obtained a cumulative average of at least 3.0 in a system where the maximum mark is 4.3 or have obtained equivalent academic results.
The non-French-speaking candidate will have to undergo a placement test in French as a second language to measure their level of competence, both written and oral.
Two letters of recommendation.
A thesis proposal (about 2 pages) which fits into one of the research areas of the doctorate and which gives an overview of the research envisaged.
