About this course:

• With main responsibilities being the mechanical operations of vessels, students will maintain and control ship systems and operate machinery in senior positions.
• When the program and required sea-time are completed, students will be eligible to write their engineering examinations and have credits up to the second-class level. This allows them to progress in the marine transportation industry to a senior position relatively quickly.
• students will exit the program with a strong background in marine engineering technology. With real experience at sea, naval architecture and machinery maintenance, they will quickly stand out from the competition.
