- The Advanced Certificate in Justice Studies (Saskatchewan Ministry of Corrections and Policing) provides the equivalent of the concentration in Criminal Justice (Saskatchewan Ministry of Corrections and Policing) to holders of a Bachelor of Human Justice. Students holding a BHJ awarded in Fall 1998 or later complete any remaining requirements of the BHJ with the concentration in Criminal Justice (Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice) as outlined below.
- Holders of a BHJ awarded prior to Fall 1998 by the Faculty of Social Work must also fulfill any outstanding Arts course requirements in addition to the courses required for the Certificate; specific courses to be completed will be determined by the Arts Student Services Office, in consultation with the Department of Justice Studies.
